The Sports, Recreation and Leisure Unit has three (3) sections namely, Sports (Games & Competition); Recreation and Physical Activities; and Leisure and Fun.
The sports section is made up of Competitive and Non Competitive Sports. The Competitive Sports are student-based competitions of thirteen disciplines of sports namely Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Swimming, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Tennis and Volleyball.
The non-competitive sports are student and Staff-based competitions including traditional and non-traditional games.

The Recreation and Physical Activities Section of the unit have the following programmes; Fitness Activities, Excursions and Recruitments and Tourism. The Leisure and fun section has fun games usually organized by Student Associations and Clubs on Campus.
